Martin was born in Leyland in 1984 where he completed college before moving to Huddersfield to attend university. IT has always been of interest to Martin, particularly its complexities and requirement for problem solving.
Martin joined Fired Up in 2009 after holding positions at companies in Manchester and Drighlington. Martin’s hunger for knowledge and passion for IT lead him to progress through the business to his current position of IT Manager.
Martin has been heavily involved in large transformation projects since joining Fired Up, including moving to the cloud from traditionally locally deployed applications, infrastructure deployments across multiple geographic locations and continued development of Fire Up websites.
Outside of work, Martin has a keen interest for classic cars, primarily his 1964 VW Beetle. Martin also has a diploma in keyboard and enjoys watching movies in his spare time.
