Gareth was born in Huddersfield in 1972 and was educated locally at Colne Valley High School, before moving to Norwich to read Economics at the University of East Anglia.
After graduating Gareth returned to Huddersfield to take up a training contract with a local accountancy firm, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant before joining a multinational practise managing the audits of many household names.
Gareth held several financial controller and finance director roles across the north of England, prior to joining Fired Up in 2010. Gareth focuses on driving profit through operational review, a robust budgeting process and ensuring that our international businesses are aligned. Gareth also takes responsibility for Human Resources and corporate compliance.
Gareth is married to Clare, and together they have two grown up children. As well as work and family he finds time to umpire in the Huddersfield Cricket League, act as Treasurer of Marsden CC and sit on the Executive of the Huddersfield Junior Cricket League.
